Raiders are  Prophets of G who conduct violence on those who oppose  G.
Preaching that G will arrive and bring salvation and end all suffering by the means of Death and Destruction. You cannot suffer if you are dead.

Raiders are equipped with an arsenal of equipment, many have claimed to encounter raiders with Light, Heavy equipment, Armor, Explosives, Ships. They have been known to be extremely aggressive. They are commonly known to put curses on people, with some claiming it takes a raider or a witch of dathomir to remove the curse, but this claim has not been proven.
